Safaris can also be mixed up including horses one day and bikes the next the choice is yours.
All safaris include meals, accommodation can be at Minnow Cabins, fully self contained cabins, located just 1 kilometer from Blaze at an extra cost of $60pp per night. Or bring your tent along. These all inclusive horse riding or Quad Bike holidays offer the best in horseback riding or Quad Bike, Mountain scenery, diverse range of flora and fauna, native wildlife, quality horses and horse riding equipment, combined with sumptuous meals and comfortable accommodation.
At the end of each exhilarating day in the saddle there are hot showers to recuperate. We shall be your personal trail guide, chef and host. Find yourself in good company, enjoy our delicious meals around the camp fire each night. It is all part of Blaze Trail riding tours to make your stop an unforgetable and relaxing time away.
If you have a good yarn to tell or can play the banjo or guitar please feel free to bring them along to share with the rest of the group for an entertaining evening.

School Holiday Camps 
During school holidays, we offer a fun and exciting opportunity for your children. What child wouldn’t love the chance to learn about, take care of and ride a horse for a whole day?
Blaze Trail riding offer full day and over night school holiday riding camps.
Whilst lessons are an ideal way to learn confidence, balance and co-ordination, these camps are a great alternative to the usual weekly lesson, expanding your child’s knowledge of horses whilst having fun in a safe, well supervised environment where the potential risks associated with horse riding are minimised.
Blaze Trail riding camps are graded so as to maximise enjoyment by all participants. Our camps are extremely popular and cater for the complete beginner to the advanced pony club rider. The camps offer various sessions on the available dates. Each session is provided in accordance with a training plan which amongst other things includes grooming, saddling, ground control, walking, trotting and cantering in harmony with the horse, jumping, sporting, fun and games and scenic trail rides through the bush.
Full Day Camp – for Beginner riders aged 10 and up
Please bring food and drinks, light refreshments available
Our 1 day beginner camps are suited to children with little or no horse riding experience. Students can look forward to learning the basics on how to catch, lead, tie up, brush, bridle, saddle, mount and how to care for a horse.
During the day students will receive a riding lesson from our staff who will teach ground control, walking, trotting and depending on the ability of students, cantering in harmony with the horse. Students will then have the opportunity to practice what they have learnt on a 1 hour scenic guided trail ride through the bush.
Costs for the 1 day camp is $TBA per child. The price includes horse riding and instruction.
All riders need to arrive by 8.30am and be picked up by 4.30pm.
This camp is suitable for children who have never ridden, or may have ridden lead ponies etc.
This camp is suitable for children who have ridden a few times, may be able to rising trot, and steer the horse. They may also have had some lessons
3 Day Overnight Camp – aged 10 years and over
The 3 day school holiday camps are open to children aged 10 years and over. It will be a little different to the other camps run by Blaze Trail Riding. The camps are designed to provide children with an enjoyable opportunity to improve their riding ability, expand their general knowledge of horses and socialise with other children who love horses. They also allow children to get a feeling of what it is like to own your own horse and care for its needs for the duration of the camp. This camp is for 3 days and 2 nights.
Overnight camps will be graded according to riding level at time of booking. We will be doing things like learning to catch, saddle and care for your horse, improving seat & posture, show etiquette, preparing horses for a gymkhana (including a night time activity of making your own brow band), jumping, pair of horses, riders in action (including obstacle course), and trail riding. With all of this leading up to a mini gymkhana on the last day. Participant ribbons issued
All food is included as well as being fully supervised by our staff day and night.
Costs for the 3 day camp is $TBA per child fully inclusive.
The package includes: Breakfast – toast or weet-bix, morning and afternoon tea, fruit, biscutits, cake etc, lunch will be cold cuts of fresh meat and fresh salad rolls. Dinner will be a BBQ and salads, of an evening children can enjoy roasting marshmallows by the camp fire.
Children and teens will need to pack clothes that can take the rough stuff, riding boots (we have some sizes available) old sneakers or boots that you don’t mind getting dirty. Clothing to suit all weather conditions.
Accommodation will be in tents, please bring tents along, pillows and a blow up mattresses or sleeping mat. If you do not have a tent we have some spare tents available. In case of very bad weather accommodation will be moved into the office at the stables.
All riders need to arrive by 8.30am on day 1
and be picked up by 4.30pm on day 3.
Guides will be staying with children/teens through out the night. The evening meal will be a BBQ, if your child has a special diet please inform the staff.
Children must be 10yrs or over and have a keen interest in horses.
Certificate of completion will be issued at end of camp to each rider.
